Some of you may remember me from last year... I was here all the time and posting all of the time!!!
On the 25th April (2 weeks ago today) our little miracle arrived via c section.
Our first round failed back in may last year and we only had one frozen embryo... I had the FET cycle in august and found out on the 29th august that I was pregnant.
I had an amazing pregnancy with very little sickness but once I started feeling her moving the anxiety kicked in, everyday waiting to feel her moving and worrying if it was the same as the day before... had 3 visits for reduced movements but thankfully all was ok.
I had an elective section which went really well however I had unexplained bleeding from the wound so two days later had general and had to be reopened up to find and stop the bleeding. We are home now and she is just amazing. Very small and it's very scary having this tiny little person but so thankful everyday to have her in our lives.
When I started on this journey this site was my lifeline and you ladies were there to help me with all of my questions and I read posts pretty much 24 hours a day lol!!
IVF is hard and life changing but it's a gamble and no one can give you the odds of success... you've got to put all of your hope and faith and trust into strangers (and money in our instance) and just go with it
To all of you still in the circle I wish you all every success in the world xx

Hi isitonlyadream. Fabulous news! Make sure you take lots of photos, as she will change so quickly. Big hug for you, and xxxxx's for your precious daughter. Diane
Hey Holly huge congratulations on her arriving safely, so happy for you 😊 Sorry to hear what you experienced afterwards, hope you're recovering well. Thanks for posting such lovely news and giving hope 😘 Xx
I'm in between EC & ET so it's a tense time but feeling (slightly!) more relaxed than previous cycles (I think!) we're hoping it's 4th time lucky 🙏🏻 It's so lovely to hear positive news from ladies like yourself, gives a lot of hope as I remember you were thinking it might never happen as most of us probably do.
Thank you and honestly it's the least I can do... you are all so lovely and helpful and we are all in it together I just wanted to share a bit of hope xx
I'd popped on about a month ago and seen you are now onto DE... how exciting.
They are really seeing good results from fet cycles as the body doesn't have to go through so much... not sure how de works but wishing you all the best of luck and will hope you are posting your bfp anytime soon xx
You have been through so much I really admire your strength and determination... stay strong and positive and wishing you all of the luck in the world xx
Omg congratulations Holly, ive thought about messaging you a few times but were unsure what to say as i wernt completely sure of the outcome of your 1st cycle...over the moon for you hun, mirachles surely can happen enjoy every moment as the time goes ever so quickly. our little 1 turned 7 months yesterday and has started crawling, still feels like yesterday that i was injecting myself with hormones☺️

Thank you ... honestly the amount of time I spent on here those first 6/8 months I just loved to read happy outcomes as it was like a ray of hope (especially when our first cycle failed) and showed me that ivf can and does work...
It's a numbers game and it's so hard but the outcome is so special
Ah that gives me such hope as we only have 1 embryo left to put back in a few weeks time so I'm feeling the pressure.thank u for this update and congratulations xxx
I was exactly the same... it was terrifying as we only had the one embryo and waiting for that call to say it had thawed ok was honestly one of the most nerve wracking mornings of my life...
But we got there somehow!!!
Wishing you so much luck with your little Frostie... keeping everything crossed for you
Congratulations on your beautiful daughter. Hope you are recovering well after your operation. Is great to hear such lovely positive news. Take care xx
