Bleeding 😢

So this morning I had a tiny bit of discharge, and the clinic advised I had a progesterone blood test and a repeat hcg test. When I got there I went to the loo and the tiny discharge had turned into bleeding 😢😢 I've been beside myself waiting for the results. The hcg came back as over 2000, but the progesterone was low. They've given me the injections to do instead alongside one cyclogest and the progynova. They say the hcg is a positive sign, but they want to repeat it on Friday just to check if it is still progressing. I don't know what to think, and feel terrified to stay positive xxx

Oh I'm so sorry to hear you have to deal with this and wait till Friday, it's so unfair that you can't just enjoy a safe & healthy pregnancy. Everything crossed that it's just a little blip and your bean is still fighting. My friend had quite a significant bleed in the early days and everything was fine and he's now a very active 3 year old! Xx

I bled at 7 weeks pregnant with my now 18 year old son. I bled heavily like a period and was told I was having a threatened miscarriage but he was fine obviously! My sister also bled heavily at 5 weeks and was told to prepare to for a miscarriage-instead had my niece whose now a lively 4 year old!

Some women do bleed in early pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies.

I know it's worrying which is highlighted more by the battle and struggle we all go through to get that exclusive postive test...

I would speak to your clinic and arrange bloods/scan and they might up your progesterone.

I hope it all settles down soon and you go on to be able to enjoy your pregnancy which is deserved. 💙💜💗❤️✨💫✨🐣

Thank you Jess, that's reassuring to know, it's just so hard! They've put me on the highest dose of progesterone in the form of injections so that's positive, and I'll have another hcg on Friday so just keeping everything crossed right now! Xxx
