I would like to seek your advice as we are trying for baby nearly 3-4 years. Please see below of my history:

01. I am a 32 year lady and my husband is 36 year old.

02. We have been trying for baby since last 3/4 years.

03. I am also diabetic (type 2) patient (family history of mother side). My diabetic is under controlled between 4 - 7.

04. I had 2 Endometriosis and did laparoscopy surgery in Sept, 2015. Doctor confirmed, they have removed around 900 ml tissue including 2 endometriosis. One was a bit large in the right ovary and other one was small in the left ovary. He also mentioned that he opened the left tube during the laparoscopy surgery.

05. After recovery of my illness we have tried normally for baby but there was no progression.

06. We have been referred for IVF treatment by our doctor and we were treated in June-July, 2016. During that treatment process they have collected 4 eggs. Following the process, 2 eggs was fertilized but unfortunately those were not good quality (blastocyst in day 5) to proceed. So, they have abandoned the treatment on that time. This time my medication was:

a. Suprecur Injection b. Marional Injection c. Ovidrel Trigger

07. As I had laparoscopy surgery for Endometriosis , so IVF team mentioned my egg reserve becoming very low.

08. We have continued IVF treatment for our first cycle extension in January, 2017. As you knew there are several scan to see the progress of the medicine support also how my body is supporting. During the scan they found my left ovary was silence and right ovary was fine and they found 4 follicles were ready to proceed. On the other hand, they found small cyst on the left ovary. Unfortunately, they didn’t found any egg during the surgery and it was so pathetic for me. I had my surgery today (03 Feb, 2017) for the egg collection. I am really upset as well. This time my medication was:

a. Progynova tablet b. Marional Injection

c. Cetrotide Injection d. Ovidrel Trigger

It is so hard when treatment fails. We are currently on our 3rd round and 4th transfer, and are completely drained by seeing that bfn repeatedly. I have low egg reserve too and had poor response this cycle, but lucky enough to have 1 embryo on board and are hoping for a miracle come test day, but it is hard to stay positive after many failures. We do feel we have had good drs though and they have always been honest and gone through failed cycles in detail to help us understand what is happening? Sometimes there are changes they can make to treatment to get a different response which they should be able to go through with you. However, we have come to realisation that if this cycle fails, our only real chance is to use donor eggs. Would this be an option for you? It is a hard decision to come to but I feel the fact I would be carrying my husbands baby makes it ok. If you don't feel your drs are explaining things well to you, you can change clinics and get a 2nd opinion. Sorry to hear they were unable to collect eggs this time. This is such a painful journey at times, but there are ways to move forward with hope. Best wishes xx

Thanks Anna. These things are very difficult for me. My brain and mind stuck in one situation. Last two days I am very very upset and low. Can't think any other things. Feeling like my life is changing in negative way. Last 4-5 months I done a lot of things (exercise, healthy food,2 eggs every day, have lots of multivitamins skip all unhealthy things..... actually too many things). So expectation was high for this cycle. But unfortunately they couldn't find any egg. I was in shock when nurses said that. My bad luck.

Doctor asked me for blood test.I have done that ,waiting for result.i am so scary..

I am so happy for you. Stay positive and all the best.

Sarmin, I'm so sorry to hear this and I know how it feels when you constantly feel disappointed. The ivf journey is one of the hardest journey we will probably go through.

My body doesn't respond to the drugs even although I have a high AMH. I have been reading the book "it starts with the egg". It's amazing I have following the advice nearly word for word. The supplements it tells you to start worked for a friend of mine on the same journey. It's worth a read. When I went to my clinic they advised me to take the same supplement DHEA.

Good luck xxxx
