Think I'm having a miscarriage

I can't believe this-come so far and thought after the first scan I could relax a bit. I had a bleed yesterday and passed a weird clot thing and have just had the same today- I feel awful now and don't quite know what to do. it feels like my period is about to start-that weird feeling you get in your stomach-I honestly don't know what to do with myself. My husband is still really poorly and I don't think the doctors is open today

I think all women are different but i know when I had mine I had heavy red blood like a period and then a few days into it this thick clot like an orange segment? Only way to tell is to go to see someone I think as every time I've rung about about my weird mucusy bleeding and cramps I've been told it may be normal may be not (sometimes they can be spectacularly unhelpful!) Is there an out of hours clinic you can ring or maybe an early pregnancy unit nearby? Xxx

Thanks for your message. I will do a google and see if I can find anywhere. It was like a red liver type of thing I passed yesterday and today. The first time I miscarried it was just loads of blood. I'm so angry at the moment. Thanks for your kind words xxx

Thank you so much for your message. The clinic has discharged us now because of the scan and said we have to now go to the gp to organise a midwife. My doctors isn't open on weekends unfortunately. I don't even know if there is anything anyone can do-feel so helpless and just so angry. I'm just led down at the moment in the hope that will do something-probably not! Yesterday when I spoke to the clinic to arrange the rest of the medication she said it's a watch and wait situation-the bleeding slowed down to nothing yesterday but then started up again today-hate all this xxx

Aww Hun what a dreadful situation, I know it doesn't help but maybe try just having a rest, put your feet up and see if it eases off then get booked in with yr gp at first chance. Here if you need anything xxx

When I had a bleed at 12 weeks I passed a big clot - like a piece of liver, it was about the size of a 50p, maybe bigger and then a gush of blood... It was a sub chorionic haematoma but baby was fine.. I am so sorry u are going through this its just awful! Our bleeds always happened on a weekend, we paid and went for a private scan, baby bond are very good and have clinics all over, expensive but it was totally worth it for us, we had to travel quite far to get to it but scan quality amazing and got lots of lovely pics. It's the piece of mind you really need X I pray all is ok for you and baby xxx

Thank you so much for your messages-it's so scary isn't it. I still feel crap-feel sick and boobs hurt and achy back but I wonder if that would still happen at this point anyway. The discharge is exactly how you describe-like a bit of liver. Would she have noticed something at the scan if it was something like this?? Scan was only in Thursday and she said how great everything looked-hate all of this it's just rotten xxx

No she probably wouldn't X I had my scan at 7 weeks 3 days and at 8 weeks had a massive bleed! If you still have symptoms that's great X got everything crossed for u X it sounds really similar to me and baby was just fine xx

Thank you so much-you've managed to calm me down a bit tbh. I will take it easy for the next few days and then when everything is 'open' again I will get into see the doctor and I am very keen to get a scan again and would obviously be happy to pay for it. can't thank you enough for replying xxx

Oh no, that sounds scary but hang in there. It could just be part of the process and not anything to worry about. Try to relax as much as you can and hopefully, you can get to see a doctor\midwife asap. Thinking of you x

Oh how scary for you. I really keep everything crossed that all is ok. I do know a lot of friends that heavy bleeds during pregnancy with no harm to baby so hopefully it is like that xxx

I know its hard not to worry but don't write everything off just yet. I had a bleed at 12 weeks,passed a clot the size of a 50p,I went a A&E and they were useless , they wouldn't give me a scan or anything , I had to wait until my next scan at 16 weeks which was really poor I think! Anyway everything was fine,all that worrying for nothing, I am now 24 weeks and everything is going smoothly. I'll keep everything crossed for you. Good luck and stay positive xx

Thanks so much for your reply. How awful that they kept you waiting that long-just horrible! It's just so scary-but I keep telling myself that at the scan on Thursday she was saying how strong the heartbeat was and was showing me things that she said you normally can't see by now but it's there for us to see which is really great. She said as it stands at the moment all looks perfect so whatever your doing keep doing it! I then relaxed a bit but then the next day having the bleed and a clot then the following day having a bleed and a bigger clot-I've been spotting ever since but only on going to the loo. It really plays with your mind. I still feel sick and boobs are sore so figure it must be a good sign but who knows. I will call the doctor once the bank holiday is over-it's def a massive rollercoaster. Thanks so much for your kind words-it's always good to hear positives after a scare if that makes sense xxxx

Hi huni, I really hope you manage to get s scan today. I was the same, I had a bleed a past a very big clot at around 13 weeks and bled for a few days (light spotting) but the baby was good. They said it was a haemorrhage and nothing to worry about. I'll be saying a little pray for you today. I wish you the best of luck xxx

Thank you so much! I'm so sorry that you went through that it's such a worrying thing to happen. My symptoms I.e. Sore boobs seem to be getting worse so I am wondering whether it could just be a one off-I do hope so. I shall try and get an appointment ASAP I already have one on the 10th but I may go mad before then! Xx

I had a doctors appointment today and he is fast tracking me to get contacted by a midwife. If the midwife does not call by 2pm tomorrow then I have to call him and he will follow it up. So still none the wiser-all I know is that the pregnancy symptoms seem to be getting stronger not fading at the moment-my boobs kill and I feel so incredibly sick xx

Thank you! Just had a little bleed again when went to the loo-just don't know what's going on. I feel terrible but keep having this on and off bleeding-just weird! I so hope that everything is ok but won't know until I am looked at I don't think. Really need to get another scan to see what's happening. Hopefully I can talk to someone in the morning x

So the situation currently is... I called the midwife who said I had to call the doctor I called the doctor and receptionist got him to call me back (was a different doctor to before) and now he's trying to get me into the early pregnancy unit for a scan so more waiting to hear back from him. He said It will probably not be until next week now. I'm still feeling sick and my boobs hurt and the bleeding seems to have subsided and have had really bad trapped wind-painful! I thought I would have been seen by now but alas no!!! Another weekend of uncertainty xx

Hiya! I'm ok I think- I am a little annoyed that I seem to be being pulled from pillar to post but what can you do. I've got a scan booked in for next week with the early pregnancy unit but typically the time the doctor has booked it for is the only time I just can't do next week so I have to call up on Monday and move it. I'm still feeling sick-well it's like a big lump in my throat that doesn't clear. I'm hoping that still having the symptoms is a good thing-I'm hoping and praying that the weird bleeding is to do with the progesterone-fingers crossed!! Thanks so much for your message xx
