Did anyone else suffer with headaches?
Is it safe to take paracetamol?
I don't want to have to take them everyday

Hi I had a lots of headaches in my first trimester ...well still do just bit less . The only thing u can take and is safe for u is only paracetamol . Xx
Hi! It happened from time to time. But taking any kind of painkillers needs dr's prescription. While being in ivf process I tried to avoid taking meds, unless agreed with my dr. Besides you should investigate what causes your headaches. I'm afraid I don't know the situation, but just take care. Paracetamol is believed to be harmless. But it's better to ask the expert. Wish you all the best
I am a migraine sufferer, but I think because of hormonal changes due to this pregnancy I have not had yet any - only headaches (which is a fraction of my usual debilitating migraine).
As I am afraid to hurt the baby- I try to sleep them off (even if it's 2 days long) without any medications. I have bags of liquid jelly balls in my freezer - so when I have headaches I use it on my head and upper shoulders to try to stop the inflammation so the blood vessels can shrink and not to pump so much blood to my head - as I can hear very loudly how the blood is being pumped near my ear drums sounding like train (or maybe it's just natural as we are supposed to make extra 40% of blood volume during the pregnancy and that's why I get these od nosebleeds these days)) I really feel that cold compresses or cold room temperature ease the tension in my head (I open the windows so in my room there are 15 degrees)
Then again - your headache can have different causal than mine (can be stress, excitement, skipped meal, dehydration, food intolerance, sleep deprivation etc. )
I read in pregnancy books that Paracetamol should be fine to use (but not sure about ivf situation)
I am severely nauseous still, but threw up only during my headaches (just like I would during migraines) which really helps.
Good luck in finding something that will ease your headaches!
