Ivf progress

Had my first scan today after 7 days on stimulation injections. 10 folicals ranging from 9-12. Feeling great at the moment no side affects as of yet. Another scan in 3 days if still going well egg collection couple days later. Any tips or advice happily received xx

That is fantastic news.... best advise me and the wife wer given, stay calm, relax and take it easy.... your going through a lot right now.. we had egg collection last week... and embies are frozen for Now, as she has a pylop to remove..but never the less they wer top notch.

I wish you the very best, stay positively be and keep in touch, plenty of water m rest after EC. Hot water bottle helps aswell.

Thank you just taking one step at a time at this stage. Just bit nervous about egg collection of we get that far. Thank for the advice will make sure I have my wheaty bag handy after EC.

That's the perfect attitude...don't be too nervous about EC, it's a very quick procedure from what we experienced. The wife did feel a tad bloated, tired, etc afterwards but it's to be expected because if the injections taken.

Just have plenty of rest ok.l, and obviously keep warm

Great news there. The stims made me bloated, lucky you not to have any side effects xxx. Soon it will be time to retrieve those eggs, it`s another exciting moment. I wish you all the best in your journey dear. I have 5 frozen blastocysts and will be transferring 2 on the 21st of December. I just can`t wait.

Think I'm a day ahead of you - exciting and nervewracking hey?!

Had my day 10 scan today and largest follicle was 16 so another scan on Monday and hoping for collection on Wednesday.

It's my first cycle so keep trying to remind myself that this could end at any stage, but also trying to stay positive - what a rollercoaster!

Sounds like things are going great for you! I'm just a few days behind you, on my second cycle and due for my scan on Monday. Using a hot water bottle can help the follicles grow. From my past cycle I can tell you that egg collection is nothing to worry about. I was completely with it before it started then all of a sudden it was over and couldn't remember a thing! Couldn't believe it. Had cramps feelings afterwards but nothing too bad! All the best for your next scan!xx
