My husband has been referred to a urologist as part of investigation into low sperm count, can anyone advise from experience what this appointment will entail? We haven't been advised, will it be a talk or tests? Thanks

Urologist appiontment
Difficult to say but probably both.
My husband had to see a urologist also and this was basically based on abnormally low sperm counts etc.
My husband was examined and entailed shall we say a rummage around, blowing on the back of one hand to check for varisies (varicose veins), abnormal sizes etc.
Maybe something similar for your husband to then determine next steps.
Hello, we saw a urologist privately and as DC13 said, DH was examined to check for any abnormalities and varicoceles etc. He also had several tests. My DH did have a varicocele and ended up having this removed earlier this year. They will also most likely look at any tests your DH has had so far, so it's a good idea to take anything like that with you. Good luck and I hope you get some answers to move forward with a plan x
