Early miscarriage

I have very sadly discovered that I am going through a miscarriage.

I am 40 y.o. and my hubby and I are trying for our first baby. Has anyone else had a similar experience & did you go onto have a successful pregnancy soon afterwards?

Hey

I'm 39 been TTC 4 years, 3 failed Ivf then 2 days before ec found out we'd conceived naturally against all the odds.

Because of all the stims 12 days we miscarried😥

This was 3 weeks ago. I read on a study that those who try after their first period 70% fall again. Those who wait more than 3 months only 40%

I have to wait till my period even though I bleed as I have over 20 follicles and risk mega multiple😣

Ironic really....

Praying that falling naturally, actually getting pregnant is a good sign.

I pray we both get our rainbow baby.

Stay in touch

Mega hug going your way💕💕💕💕💕💕

Do you mean try naturally after an ivf cycle 70% fall pregnant? Xx

I conceived naturally. There seems to be a lot of anecdotal evidence out there that you are more fertile within the first 6 months of a miscarriage. Hopefully it will hold true. Xx

I know you're def more fertile the first month after a miscarriage. My sister in law fell pregnant the month after she miscarried x

Hey that's what the clinic said to try. Apparently after getting pregnant once it's easier. Clearly depends on individual reason for Ivf. Ours was unexplained.

I am also 40 and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks after our FET in August. All blood results looked perfect, it was a good embryo so I guess just one of those things. I'm currently on stimms for my next cycle and trying to be positive that I know I can at least get pregnant.

I won't lie, its still really tough and I don't want to think about my upcoming birthday in a few weeks. That said lots of older women get pregnant.

Good luck. x

So sorry to hear your sad news. I am 38 and had a miscarriage in February - it was such a painful time and it hit us hard. We wanted to try again straight away because of my age and our strong desire to start a family. In August I fell pregnant again and now I'm 16 weeks pg. I know it can feel completely hopeless when you go through something like this, but you will get through it. Take care x

Thanks so much lovely ladies for your kind thoughts and advice 💖 We are slowly digesting this news, but are determined to try again once things settle down post-miscarriage.

Best of luck for all your pregnancies 🍀🍀🍀 It will happen. I will stay in touch xxx
