Hello again, I'm struggling with this failed IVF cycle. I think I went into it very naively, just presuming it would work! As treatment progressed it did become clearer that not everything was going quite to plan. Anyway I have an appointment at my clinic on Tuesday to discuss what happened and next steps, which will be good, but I can't get a counselling appointment until the end of the month, and feel I could really do with some extra support. My husband has been, and is amazing, but counselling helps me put my mind in order. Has anyone got any tips or suggestions where I could speak to someone, or if it's best just to wait?!? Xx

I think we all get into this a bit naively, and so full of hope. I'm sorry I don't have any answers for you but I just wanted to comment to give your post a little bump in the hopes that someone else sees it and they can help you x
We were very naive too on our first cycle and it is so tough then to be bfn. I found a local support group through fertility UK.. try there.. good luck xx
Thank you, I'll take a look xx
Hi Aleelilook. Just to add to the others, we do have a list of support groups on our website fertilitynetworkuk.org Also counselling can be arranged privately at bica.net you will be charge for this service, but they are all qualified in infertility counselling. A bit late, but only just read your post. However, if you would like, I can email you lists of questions for you to have a look through before you go for your follow up cnsultation tomorrow. You can email me in confidence at support|@fertilitynetworkuk.org and I will send them to you. Good luck! Diane
