My daughter in law is 3 days into her Gonal -f injections and someone who has had several IVF attempts before has suggested taking aspirin 75mg daily! Has anyone had this advice before? Thanks in advance

Advice please
Aspirin is sometimes recommended I've never taken it before but I would trust her clinic to give the best advice.
my clinic have advised to take 25mg baby aspirin but only from transfer day onwards, I wouldn't do any thing without checking with your clinic first though Xx
Thanks for that she won't take it and ask on Friday! x
Hi there, I was on it for rounds 2 and 3 and took it daily weeks before transfer, during and after, only baby dose...3RE round I had clexane injections too...it seems quite slot of people take it, not sure why they recommend some don't though....when I didn't take it I didn't fall pregnant, when took it 2 times fell pregnant, although sadly lost both pregnancies...it's good to see...all the best xx
Hi, my clinic has advised me to take 75mg of aspirin for my next cycle but this was only advised after having my drugs reviewed for my previous cycle not having worked. I've to take it to improve the blood flow to my uterus but like the others have said ask the clinic first as they know best!!
Thanks for all your help she will ask on Friday just to be sure x
Hi I have been advised to take asprin starting from a positive pregnancy test, I have a condition which clots my blood. I did ask the nurse before my egg transfer if I should start taking it and she said definitely not, especially with the chance of a bleed after egg transfer procedure. I had my embryo transfer today and I asked the question again, I was told the same advice to take on a positive result. Has the clinic recommend your daughter to take asprin?
Aspirin is a blood thinner, which is a preventative to avoid any blood clots forming which may hinder implantation of your little embie. Clexane is a stronger med which requires injecting and dissolves any clots which could be forming in the uterus, both are preventatives which are eliminating any risks around implantation. I wish your daughter in law all the best for her next round xxx
