Egg collection ✔️

Hello everyone,

Egg collection was yesterday and the worst part was the cannula going in my hand.

As most of you know I was a egg sharer and my scan showed that I was only going to have 7 eggs. This meant that I woundnt have enough to share so made the hard decision to donate my eggs.

Fast forward to yesterday and 8 eggs were collected (one was too mature) and my eggs are now hopefully fertilising nicely for the couple.

It's been a rollercoaster of emotions but I know I have made the right decision.

My consultant told me yesterday that I will go through another cycle in two months approx. I will also be on a higher dose of stims and will keep all my eggs, it will also be a free cycle.

Oh my goodness what an amazing thing that you have done. I can only empathise on what an emotional rollercoster you have been on and wish you all the very best with the free cycle and where that journey will take you. If it was not for people like you then ladies that have to go down the DE route would not even have a chance to try for a baby. Total RESPECT.
