Complete disbelief - its BFP!!!

So, the spotting continued to be brownish and the mild abdo cramps have been pretty constant for the past 2 days along with faint nausea. Then had a slightly pink tinge earlier which then went. Felt that it was all over.

We're expecting heavy snow tonight so rang clinic and said could I test a day early (I'm 9dp5dt) as not sure I'll get in for a blood test tomorrow.

Got call this evening to say it is BFP with levels over 250. Then went and did pregnancy test cos I've always wondered what 2 lines look like!

Sorry, I'm rambling but I'm in complete shock. They want me to retest on Friday to put my mind at rest cos of the symptoms. Aaargh.

I've got my warmest jumper on right now and am sat under a duvet in front of the fire. I obviously didn't boil the embryo with the electric blanket after all! How are you doing?

Haha oh good lord no try not to do that! haha I am ok thank you. Would have been 12 weeks today so a bit of a tough one. I've seen two rainbows though to remind me to have hope that we will have our time again x x x

congratulations! You had the same symptoms as me before my BFP 😊 have you got a date for an early scan? Mines been brought forward from the 18th to 12th August. Still in disbelief till I see a heartbeat! x

Yep, I'm still gonna panic all the way through to the heartbeat. No scan date yet, I have another blood test on Monday so I guess I'll get a date after that. Have your symptoms got better! The spotting has pretty much gone and the cramps aren't as made but my tummy still doesn't feel quite right, kinda tight.

no more spotting since BFP... The odd very mild cramp but nothing much, I'm hypersensitive to every twinge though!! I've had some mild nausea but think its the high dose of oestrogen I'm on now, and my appetite isn't great. Sore boobs! Other than that, I feel normal! Only 5 weeks 3 days though. 8 days till scan!! 😁

I'm overwhelmed by all the support on here. You ladies are wonderful.

Spotting has stopped but still getting occasional weird feelings in tummy. Feels more like bloating than cramping now. This is worse than the 2WW for symptom spotting, I'm finding it really hard.

Snowed heavily overnight so don't think I'll be able to get the extra blood test today. Will have to just wait until Monday to check the HCG is rising. I guess a snow day is a perfect excuse not to do much but curl up in front of the fire.
