Hi everyone,has anyone went through FET ? I have 6 eggs to thaw and they want to thaw all 6,did use get the option of how many you would like to thaw? Xx

Hi Adele - we didn't get any frosties so haven't been in your situation. Have they explained why they would like to thaw them all? x

Hi Adele88, the way it worked for us is that we agreed we wanted 2 transferred, so they were going to thaw 2 and if one didn't manage it they would thaw another one etc. Until we had 2 to transfer. Luckily, the first 2 took as we only have 6 (now 4) frosties in total and I don't think we will have anymore. Lots of luck xxxx keep asking questions xxxx

My clinic only thawed on the morning of ET (I only had one to defrost), so surely they can just thaw 1-2 at a time rather than all of them.

They can thaw them one at a time. Or two at a time depending on how many you are having implanted. It takes literally a couple of minutes. I'm guessing they're saying they will thaw them all of necessary, but I'm also pretty sure my clinic told me they can be re frozen too.

Never heard of that...just the amount that you want transfered to start with and see how the thaw process goes..
