Hi ladies

Just home from scan 😄😄 I have down regulated on time!!

So start the estrogen tablets today for 8 days and back next Thursday to check to make sure lining is thickening. Transfer (if Frostie thaws ok 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻) will be 17 - 21 days after starting estrogen so w/c 15th August.

Little bit excited and a lot apprehensive still a long way to go but everyday a little bit closer.

That's great news! We must celebrate small victories throughout this process, really happy for u.

I'm starting again with my next cycle but might have have to inject instead of sniff this time to make sure I absorb the medication.

Lots of luck Holly, I'm also in the middle of a fet with just the one embie. I'm currently on tablets and still injecting, I have a scan to check my lining next Wednesday and all being well 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 my transfer will be 9th August, so we have roughly similar timings! Feeling the same as you, apprehensive but excited & glad it's almost over if I'm honest!

We are very close in timings 😄 Glad I'm not the only one with just the one embie, it's so scary isn't it but we have to have hope and lots of faith. Good luck for your scan next week, let me know how you get on.

It is scary, there's so much pinned on that little one that it's quite an anxious time but then isn't it all 😳 However it does only take one! Definitely got to have hope or we'd never put ourselves through this would we, it can be a difficult balance of being positive but not getting hopes too high I find 😕 Thanks for your wishes, hope everything goes well for you too Hun xxx

Just read your update on your follow up.. I was exactly the same at mine, in fact the doctor we met with wasn't supportive at all and didn't seem bothered with my questions so I made another follow up with the head consultant and really went to town with questioning him! At the end of the meeting he looked shattered! But it is so important to get answers and to explore all options, this is our body and our life (and money) and it helped me to feel like I'd clawed back a modicum of control over the situation.

I've read LOTS about DHEA over the last few months and if we are unfortunate with Frostie and if we have to do another fresh cycle I'll definately be taking it too. Just another step towards control.

I've also read that each cycle is different with different results so hopefully round 2 is the one for you. 😄
