FET OTD timelines...

hoping someone can shed some light! From reading lots on here it appears the '2 week wait' varies quite a bit! Anything from 9 to 14 days post transfer. On my fresh cycle, it was 11 days, on my current frozen cycle it is 14! (currently on day 3) I had a day 5 blastocyst on my fresh and day 6 on my frozen so I'm confused by the difference in wait! Especially since I didn't have the HCG shot this time... Curious what your timescales were? I'm planning on testing a day early as myself and hubs are both off work that day.

A day early probably won't make any difference. Our first 2ww were 14 days but as the 1st one fell on a Saturday they said to do it a day early. 3rd 2ww was 17 days don't know why but we were at a different clinic and they had different protocols and we had to have FET that time.

Hi embiemomma. I realise how confusing all these different test dates are, but clinics have their own preferences. Remember too that a frozen embryo can take longer to "wake up" properly, so a couple of extra days is often added. Just try and stick to what your clinic has advised, and they will realise about you not having an hCG shot. Good luck and keeping everything crossed for you. Diane
