Failed ICSI period changes

Has anyone had any changes in their period after failed treatment? I have had 3 periods since and the cycles are longer. 35 days for the first 2 months and 39 for the thirds. Its frustrating as hell. My cycles would usually be no more than 32 days but differed every month.

My impression speaking to the consultants is that due to the injectable hormones it can take a while for things to settle back down. e.g. with menopur it can take a while to even get a period.

We have put our bodies through so much.

I had prostap 3 month injection and am now on visanne after our first cycle and I am convinced I am still ovulating and think I am about to have my second period. I don't want it!

When I last saw the consultant she said, if you have prostap you probably won't get a bleed for at least four of five months, I think I have missed one, plus all the hormonal flares etc. I'm not counting days but it seems to be pretty regular give or take.

I'm back on the painkillers....and praying double progesterone will stop it!
