Hi ladies, im having my eggs collected tomorrow and im just wondering how youve all felt in the evening following the op? Only its our first wedding anniversary also tomorrow and so was hoping to celebrate even if just with a take away 😌 Xx

Hi, I was very sore but not until a day or two after because I developed mild OHSS. Just make sure you drink 2-3 litres of water daily and you should be fine. Take some paracetamol and avoid baths. I was told not to bath or put direct heat on my tummy. You should be fine to go for a meal, just no jumping around. Good luck with EC tomorrow x

Hi there, I was quite sore in the evening and took paracetamol, but everyone's different and you may be absolutely fine. I would say see how you feel and, if it's all you can manage, a take-away in bed is always a great treat!

Hi it's my EC today also fory 2nd cycle. Last time was ok. You're a it tender afterwards but it shouldnt stop you from eating a takeaway in the eve. What time is your EC? Good luck xx

Thanks ladies, feeling a wee bit nervous now and had a terrible nights sleep! Luckily ill be sleeping during the op anyway 😉

We're just about to leave for the hospital now as itll be around 9am 😀

How it all goes well today. I found EC fine but I wasn't expecting to feel so bloated afterwards.

I was very bloated & sore with movements, I had 21 eggs so I was borderline over stimulated, I wish I had taken then day off after as I was uncomfortable in work with being bloated. If u can try & do that.

I felt hungover if that's the best way to describe it! Definitely feet up & relax. Pleanty of water & protein.

Woops sorry also I was very sore, think severe period pains combined with abdominal muscle cramp? But I think it depends if you get OHSS and also how many follicles you had xx

It might not be of any help now, but I felt absolutely fine, no pain and didn't feel any different. In fact I found the dye test a lot worse. I guess you can just never really tell. But best of luck with the ET!
