EC not too bad.

Can't believe I finally made it to an EC after last time. Was not nearly as bad as I thought. Was awake but swimmy throughout and just had odd feeling when local anaesthetic used but not pain.

5 hour car journey home was the worst. Had to stop couple times cos I felt sick. Now have slight cramping pain but no worse than bad period. Feels very different to before EC and boobs don't hurt anymore.

Had 20 follicles (oestrogen got to 20,000) but only 8 eggs and was actually quite pleased with this cos of my age. Find out tomorrow if fertilised and then likely freeze all cos my progesterone is a bit high. Should be able to have ET in a few weeks after my period.

Just wanted to reassure those who are waiting for EC.

4 fertilised which I guess is ok. Now have to wait a few days to know whether they'll freeze them or if only 1 or 2 are good then they'll do transfer and risk the raised progesterone levels. I would just love one part of this journey to be straightforward.
