Endo and pregnancy
Hi frankie888. Just wondered if your endometriosis was discovered during a laparoscopy, and did they manage to laser it away? Sometimes that can be all you need. Good to hear that your tubes are OK, as endo can be a nightmare if it had attacked them. Maybe your clinic will just try some drug treatment or maybe proceed to IVF, depending upon your age. Just wanted to wish you well with whatever is decided for you, and of course, for success. Diane
Hi Diane, thank you, No it was discovered during fertility investigations through an internal scan. I'm not sure of the severity as all I know is it is on one ovary and is quite small. I just don't know if it affects the egg quality. I'm 35, so need to do something soon!
Hi frankie888. Obviously it might prevent an egg from "getting out" of the affected ovary naturally. Could also affect follicle stimulation if you have to go through IVF, so may need to be treated beforehand. It shouldn't actually affect the quality of your eggs. I hope all is soon sorted for you and a treatment plan agreed. Diane
