First appointment in 3 weeks...unsure of the process

This is my first attempt at IVF and have got our appointment though for 21st April with the NHS. I just wondered if people could give me any advice on after the appointment how long you wait till they would start procedures? Any questions I should ask?

Hi,

I guess it depends what tests you have already had.  We went through SSR last year and got referred for IVF in early Jan.

Had our 1st appointment at the beginning of March and I have had to have 2 day 21 blood tests and 1 day 2-4 blood test.  I have scans booked for early May then we see the consultant at the end of June to go through the results and find out our treatment plan.

Hope that helps a little, but I know all clinics are different.

I have an appointment with the fertility nurse on the 22nd. I've had what feels like millions of tests so I'm not really sure what the time scales are either. Be interesting to see if it's the same x
