hi button-123
I was going to message you later to see how you were? I am fine thank you few belly aches but nothing to bad and no blood yet or discharge what about you?
Hello,
Glad your feeling ok. I am good thanks had a few moments where I have felt abit light headed, and a few little aches but that's about it. I feel quite calm still and go back to work tomorrow which I am hoping will take my mind of things for abit xxx
I am tempted I have 2 admit but am going to resist if possible you?
Not finding it too bad yet, but am only on my first week! Determined not to test early as I don't want to get my hopes up with a false positive!
Am having a little trouble with the pessaries, feels like I'm getting thrush, anyone else having any side effects from them? Going to call the clinic tomorrow for advice!
Fingers crossed for all of us! Xxx
Also on my first week and feeling good. Sorry to hear your having a few issues with the pessaries, try using them up your bottom as you can use them either front or back but defo see what your clinic say xx
I am having a thrush like reaction but I read on the advice sheet that they recommend wearing panty liners when using them so thought maybe this is usual unless your having a bad itching sensation ? me personally no itching but just lots of discharge xxx
I have been using panty liners, less messy 🙈
Hi Jam, I had a thrush like reaction after 2 days of starting to use the pessaries. I think it was just my body getting used to them as it settled down after 3 days. If you don't already I would suggest using a pH neutral shower gel, avoid wearing skinny jeans or tight trousers and wear cotton knickers. How long have you been using the pessaries for?xx
yes honey I would too then they may advise to lower the dose but just ringing for info cant do any harm good luck sweetie xxx
I have been calm but must admit I cried a lot today, I was having cramps all day as well, both things I think are side effects of the progesterone. Feel a bit calmer this evening x
It's always good to have a good cry when needed, it helps you feel better and face whatever is next on this journey. Take care xxx
good its a horrible emotional rollercoaster we are on take care of yourself honey xxx
Thank you. It's the cramping that's bothering me, it just feels like normal period cramping (I always have cramps about over a week before period) xxx
Hopefully its your uterus stretching, I've read loads of women whose only symptoms in the 2ww were period symptoms and they ended up getting a BFP 😃xx
Hi ladies, my 2ww is nearly over. My OTD is this Friday eeeek. The first week went so quick and I was fine apart from having loads of symptoms/side effects which are now driving me mad.
Think I might test tomorrow morning 1 day early 😬 We want this so much, 🙏hope its second time lucky.
When is everyone elses OTD?xx
Sadly mine ended with a BFN today. In my case it really helped me to test early as it helped me prepare mentally and get the worst of the upset over on Sunday so that today when the negative was fully confirmed I was still able to function. I figured that if it ended up positive, I would soon forget the bit of unnecessary upset caused! But if you think getting upset or worried could impact on your physical health then waiting it out makes more sense. I am keeping everything crossed for you ladies, I love this site and the support on here and I hope to hear of your success stories xxx
Hi cmat, so sorry to hear this wasn't your time. Look after yourself 💗💗
Hey all, I'm really calm at the minute, it's my hubby who is beside himself 😂 Had a few little niggles - wouldn't say pain or cramps but they stopped yesterday. My boobs feel heavy and my tummy feels a little heavier but other than that I feel absolutely great! Kinda scaring myself lol! The pessaries aren't a brilliant experience, but I have to do them! I'd definitely wear a panty liner as without it you will ruin your undies and if you can lie down for 5/10 minutes before getting up to do activities, I've found that the "leakage" is a little less then.
Cmat, I'm so sorry it hasn't worked. Sending big hugs your way xx
