Thought I would post this in case it helps anyone else:
"Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breath, and have faith that everything will work out for the best."
It's a little mantra that helped me through our 2nd round of ICSI, after our 1st round ended in miscarriage. Now 15 weeks pregnant and feeling more relaxed (for the moment!).
Take care all on your journey xx

My lovely Grandad used to say "a bit of faith led blind hope is all you need to get you through" and he wasn't wrong!
Years ago he gave me a poem when I was I was studying, on our darkest day of our fertility journey I recited this over and over on my way home, turns out that day was our turning point.
Don't Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
Easier said than done though. I'm not even the ivf'er and I'm an emotional wreck at 7wks pg. This has been the longest 5wks of my life, so heaven knows how my friend gets through the day!
Anyone here have the words to the serenity prayer? I could certainly do with them and desiderata too.
