Egg collection

Hey, I had my egg collection on Tuesday morning and still in a lot of pain. Can anyone tell me how long it took them to feel better again. I woke up last night in tears, it hurts so much. Thanks Xx

Hello! Honestly it took me until tues this week (after EC on Friday). I called the clinic to make sure what I was feeling was normal. I had a hot water bottlegluedtome for days! Also started drinking nettle tea to help with bloating. Feel better soon xx

I was in horrendous pain for two days, uncomfortable and bloated for about a week.

You can take ibuprofen at this stage, just switch to paracetamol only after ET.

Took me about 2-3 days to feel Ok. Still felt bloated for ages and ages after and like I'd gone up a dress size. Drink loads of water too. Take time off as long as you can.

It will improve, honestly.

Hey, I had terrible pain after mine, couldn't move, apparently it's quite common to develop cysts from EC! It's totally normal tho and doesn't effect ET I was so relieved after they told me I thought I was going mad! It lasted about 4/5 days then calmed right down to just being uncomfortable a little after ET so don't worry unfortunately some of us get pain where some are able to go back to work and all sorts the next day!

Thank you all for your comments, after spending the whole day in bed I am starting to feel a bit more human. The pains in my stomach have finally eased off. Lets hope it carries on tomorrow. Xx
