EC Friday yippee :)
Good Luck to you, I am in a similar situation to you I have stage 4 endo and in the first process of ivf, its nice to read your stories xxx
That's a really good response I had 16 eggs taken yesterday and 13 have fertilised ET Monday.
Good luck for tomorrow remember to drink loads of water afterwards.
Hi mrsgoodby2015. Well by now your egg collection will probably all be over?? All is looking good regarding measurements, so fingers crossed the next stage of fertilisation goes to plan, and indeed the rest of your cycle. Good luck! Diane
Hope all goes well today and you feel okay afterwards xxx
Hi everyone had my egg collection yesterday and got 21 eggs. Bad news is the doc said im prone to get ohss now because of so many so they said the will fertilise them and had them frozen. Ive got my next appointment in October 27th to see how I am and start the process of getting my body ready for egg transfer. Feel so deflated but if its the best thing to do then ill do it. Xx
Hi mrsgodby2015. Oh dear! Try not to be too upset by all of this, as you’re the most important person here, and you need to be completely well before having your embryo transferred. You must make sure that you drink plenty of water and that your urine is nice a clear “straw coloured”. If it gets dark, you need to drink more until it clears again. Should you get a problem with breathlessness, excessive pain or reduced urine output, you must let your clinic or A&E Dept know straight away. Don’t worry about your little “frosties”, as they will be quite safe. Modern techniques called vitrification (freezing process), has minimised storage problems, which is such a great move forward. Meanwhile, try and rest as much as you can. Good luck for the October appointment. Diane
Thankyou diane after these few days have passed im glad now its having a break as ive not felt well over the last few days. Because I suffer with constipation anyway it just felt worse as I wanted to go but my belly was too tender to go. I had not been for 8 days so I took a laxative and a few hours later it worked. Now im having pain when I wee and my belly still swollen so not quite myself yet xx
Hi. Thanks for the update. Do keep up with the fluids, which should help with passing urine. If it carries on, then pop and see your GP just in case you have a bit of cystitis. Meanwhile have a little walk every half an hour to help with the gas, then feet up and rest in between if you can. Hope all soon settles. Diane
