Can I ask if anyone has had any experience with a VLCD leading up to IVF? I am currently doing this leading up to our first consultation for ICSI obviously I wouldn't do it during treatment but just wondered if anyone else has done it?
Just read that it can effect hormones and its worried me a bit. I got my AMH test on Monday and first consolation 26th Aug x
Hi. I lost 4st with Cambridge Weight Plan prior to starting my IVF as my bmi was too high & I didn't meet the criteria. I wouldn't recommend doing a vlcd while you're undergoing tests etc as it will probably affect your results. The best thing to do would be to start eating a healthy, balanced diet & taking all the necessary vitamins to get your body ready for treatment 😉 x x
