I am going to see the gynaecologist at the end of the month for the first time and all they have written in the letter was that I should come with another person to undergo investigations. Does anyone know exactly what is done at this stage???

Will they do an ultrasound and count how many follicles are on your ovaries? So they know the degree of how polycystic your ovaries actually are?

I expect a scan and some blood tests. I used to have PCOS but it turns out I have Insulin Resistence instead (same symptoms though). Hope that helps x
