Hi Little3535, what drugs are you going to be on? I've been on Buserelin and Menopur and the Buserelin gave me cramps, headaches and I had trouble concentrating at work but once I started the Menopur these symptoms eased a great deal and I was only left with the headache. It's really not that bad :-)

Good luck with your treatment xx

I had gonal f and menopur to encourage follicle growth and then Cetratide to stop the eggs from releasing early. I had no side effects from these, other than being a bit moody and stressed out- but nothing compared to Clomid. My trigger shot was ovitrelle. After EC I took cyclogest pessaries and after transfer I also took Gestone progesterone injections and Clexane blood thinning injections. The Clexane injections are the worst ones as they cause bruising and they do sting- but they're really not that bad.

Ouch I'm

Not looking forward to injections lol but just think of the positive results at the end xx

Hi Little3535,

I did the short protocol (taking Gonal F & Cetrotide) and apart from a few niggley head aches at the beginning and a little bloating at the end I didn't suffer from any side effects. The important thing is to keep your fluids up :-)

Good luck, hope everything goes well. I'm in the second week of my 2ww....eeek! xx
