I was wondering if I could get some advice. I hv a scan nxt week. The one you have just before you take your first injection to confirm you are ready to start. It's the one you have when your on your period. Due to a condition I have I'm not good with internal scans. At my last one I had to do it myself. Just wondering if anyone has advice about this scan as extra worried as I might be on.

I have no information for you I was due to have my baseline scan today but my period is yet to arrive hope all goes well let us know how u get on xx

Honestly do not worry about it if you are bleeding, they are very used to this and won't even notice. Just make sure you have tissues and a fresh pad with you.

You will need to get used to the internal scans as you have 1 or 2 a week before egg collection, so just try your best to relax and remember that the clinic are doing many of them each day so they really don't think too much about it.

Mine were never comfortable, but I would just keep taking deep breaths (count 3 in, 3 out) with helped me a lot to relax.

When I had my ET the doctor made me take 3 very deep breaths before she put the speculum / catheta into me, and said that it makes your 'downstairs muscles' relax.

Ya I've been given a lot of exercises to do at home and there working. I'm not to worried about the ET, as they've agree to sedate me. Soo just need to find away to cope with the scAns. The last one I had at the clinic wasn't to bad as I was able to insert it myself. Just worried about doing that when I'm on and the mess lol
