Day 5 of Buserelin.... & don't feel any different yet!! It's all going so quickly!! 😊 Any one had any alcohol or exercised whilst taking this drug or is it better to stay away from having a drink and any exercise? Thanks x

I've been on Bureselin for nearly 2 weeks now and started taking Menopur Thursday. I carried on exercising when on Bureselin - probably not quite as much as I felt quite tired, but still went to the gym a couple of times a week. I also had the odd glass of wine - I was told that was fine as well. Now I'm on stims I've stopped drinking completely and although i'm hoping to still exercise my clinic said I might find it too uncomfortable when I start getting bloated.

I didn't drink any alcohol at all but I did carry on exercising pretty much as normal, although I did find I lacked a bit of energy once I had been on the Buserelin for a couple of weeks and I also suffered with terrible migraines which wiped me out a bit.

You just have to listen to your body. I am a fitness instructor and personal trainer so. I have to exercise for my job which means it is the norm for me and I feel worse not exercising! I figured it was better doing what my body was used to, but I just didn't do quite as much if I was particularly tired.

I found Buserelin had a terrible effect on my sleeping and I got to the point where I was so tired I could barely function! Thankfully once I started the stims it wasn't as bad!

Good luck with it and just do what you feel is right for your body.
