Hi I've just finished injections and found them to be much easier than I thought they would be. Hubby did the first one but after that I managed fine myself. They are less painful than getting bloods and I luckily didn't get any bruising. When I was feeling a bit sore especially towards the end I used a warm hot water bottle on my tummy which I believe also helps the follicles grow. I also took my injections at night so I could just chill out afterwards. Once you get over the thought of jabbing yourself it's okay, the needle point is very small and thin.
Good luck with your treatment xx
Hi good luck with your treatment.
The injections are small & easy to do on your own. Just take your time & you will have no problems. After the first couple you won't even think about it. It's all a step in the right direction to getting your baby!
Xx
hi good luck. I found the worse part all the mixing - but I was on a high dose.. the injection is a largish needle but doesn't hurt. pinch up your skin and inject. Im pretty sure they said to us no hot water bottles/warm baths/heat pads etc so I would check that out. you cant feel it after anyway..
Hi Danielle33375, How exciting for you!! I am also waiting to start and the injections do worry me a little but have been told over and over they're a lot easier than we think. I just keeping focusing on the tiny baby I hope to hold in my arms at the end of it all. Wishing you all the best, keep us posted xxx
