Hello just upgrade .. I am still waiting to get matched up doing egg sharing program.. thats the whole month now and nothing .. starting to ask why .. whats the problem.. do they hv too many donors or just noone wants my eggs xx I am desperate to start... askin myself could ppl be no wanting me because I am foreigner .. no british. .. ??? Or just bn inpatient as usual xx

I am also egg sharing and our clinic told us that recently there has been an increase in egg donors, and they prepped us for a maximum of 3 month wait (on average) so please don't lose heart. We have our blood test results appointment end of feb and then will also be playing the waiting game. I'm making lots of plans etc and keeping the calendar full so I'll have things to distract myself with. I honestly don't think being a foreign will have anything to do with it.

Maybe start a project or plan a trip or something to help take your mind of it? Try and stay positive, when it's meant to be it will be (that's what I keep telling myself)

Thank you misssav very much.. I had christmas to take my mind off then we had lovely break with my partner away for his birthday .. and now is just kinda gap ... work no busy either as january is always quiet so I am phone watching .. our clinic said start of year .. which could be couple or more month but in my head it was january latest which didnt go to plan x my other bloods expire 17th february so I better ring gp to get them redone coz dont want them to find recipient then wait again for bloods xx hope no too much longer xx all the best to u too xx

I doubt not being British is the problem! More likely the time of year! People doing IVF now end up with Christmas babies or end of the year birthdays which can be funny with schooling and holidays. Sounds funny, but I know a lot of people that plan babies for specific times of year.

There is still a national shortage of egg donors. I think it's probably that they haven't found a recipient who matches your physical characteristics or your cycle closely enough. They want the babies to look as much their parents as possible. I had to provide photos and fill out a form about how I looked so they could find a lady who looked as much like me as possible.
