Hi ya, I think everyone is different but for me, after I signed paperwork I started down regulation a few days later due to where I was in my cycle.
I was lucky enough to go in for mock transfer, nurse injection teach & paperwork all within 2 days.
aw i really hope its the same for me! seen that some people wait around 8 weeks and that scares me! what was the mock transfer? xx
For me, I ovulate & have regular periods so I guess there was no need for any delays.
The Mock transfer was basically a transfer without putting eggs in, so that the Docs could see best route to put eggs in when time comes, look at my womb, etc
Some clinics do it, some don't. Least it gave me an idea of what it'll be like when the "real" transfer happens - uncomfortable but not awful, crampy after - nothing that can't be handled
I'd like to know this answer to ahha im private but I started two and a half months ago and I've not even had a plan done yet! 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️Xx
Really? What are the waiting on have they said? xxx
Not sure to be honest... they performed an unnecessary procedure two days ago when everything is fine and now I have to wait three weeks for another consultation on what to do next 😓 To be honest I just believe it's all for the money. It's a business after all!xxx
Hey! I’ve always been self funded but I think it depends on the plan assigned to you (long or short protocol) and on where you are at with your cycle!
Hi we were NHS funded and I think because of where i was in my cycle we waited 2 months? We went in a few days before Christmas and I started down reg at the start of February. I hope you don't have to wait too long xxx
I’m on the NHS and it always seams to be a 3 month wait between any appointment. We are also at point of signing paperwork. We have also been booked in for end of Oct for pre-procedural health checks and further blood tests...I guess that’s standard just to make sure we are generally healthy enough to go through process. I think they are supposed to carry out procedures within three months of those pre-checks but nobody has talked about the injections to stimulate follicule growth and when that needs to start. We are finding it a very slow process but I think it all comes down to how busy your clinic is. Wish you all the best and I hope it’s not a long wait x
