2ww is killing me
We went on holiday for the second week so we had plenty of distractions.
Try to keep busy and it might help to see close friends/family so you have something else to talk and think about.
I really hope you get a positive result on Sunday, you're nearly there.
Hi PY987.
I was the same the 2 wk wait is the most stressful part of it all. Try to take you mind off thinking about it i know its hard to do, do something you enjoy doing, read a book, watch a film go for a liittle walk any thing to try and take your mind off it. You don't have long left now intill Sunday. The most important thing to do is try to remain POSITIVE. Go to your hubbys Christmas party enjoy your self but stay away from the alcohol
I heard laughter is good for you little embryo. I hope you get a Positive result on Sunday Good Luck for it. Sending you lots of Luck and Love XX
Thank you I haven't drunk since October so defiantly won't be drinking but it's a free bar so everyone else will be and I just don't think I'll enjoy myself. I'm at work which last week took my mind off things but not this week. This certainly is the most stressful part x
You really should take it easy your body has gone through a lot . I know it's difficult not to work but rest and relaxation is the best thing you can do for it to work.p.s. I'm a workaholic so I know it's difficult but trust me you'll be gald you did when you hear it's worked . good luck for Sunday x

Lots of good luck wishes for Sunday! The dreaded 2ww unfortunately feels like forever! But distraction is the key. I found cinema trips great, as you're totally engaged in a good film. Or little bit of Xmas shopping maybe. But no heavy bags! Or what about wrapping up presents while watching a good programme! Not long to go now. I've heard fresh pineapple is good for implantation too. Something to do with blood flow I think. Hope you get yr positive! Xx
I hate the term '2 week wait'. Technically from the moment of ET you are pregnant. Be in the moment and connect with your embryo and you body. When you focus on the future, the 'wait', the test, you are not being present to your body. Stress is future thinking, worrying about what may or may not be, trying to predict the future and what may or may not happen. The truth is nothing can predict the future so stop trying and come back to the present moment. Spend a moment now focusing on your breath and then connecting with your body, imaging it doing what you want it to do. Be in the now, the present moment is the only one that exists. Whatever happens you will be OK. x
You are not pregnant until implantation has occurred. Your post shows a basic lack of understanding of the process and is not helpful.
Totally agree comment isn't helpful if I had responded at the time I would of been very rude!
I am sorry you found this comment unhelpful, most women I share it with find it helpful as it is all about how we perceive the situation. I state it with a very good understanding of the process and experience from a personal and professional capacity. Both biologically and psychologically. The definition of pregnancy is period between conception and birth. There is some debate as to the actual definition of conception, whether it is fertilisation or implantation. The 2 week wait can stressful because we are worried about whether the treatment has been successful or not. We are stressing about the test result coming up. However that is future thinking which is the cause of stress. I reframing the experience to help her be more in the moment and to let go of the future thinking, which is not going to help anything. Again, I am sorry you found it unhelpful. x
I know it is an old post but thanks. I prefer the word PUPO to 2ww. So I am pregnant until proven otherwise. It helps me to connect with them and stop worrying. I have only 8% of chances but what if my minions are those 8% and I didn't trust them enough in the process? I am a reasonable person but in this moment I need some happy thinking. Otherwise I won't survive other 10 days.
Hi I have my test on xmas eve so I know exactly how your feeling. My doctor has put me on sick since ET as my job is heavy and stressful. The first week I spent most of my time with my parents to keep my mind off the worrying. This week I'm watching really bad xmas films with my feet up and trying to relax. It's amazing how distracting seasonal films can. Good luck for Sunday. xxx
