My partner is 54 what options do we have?

Any chance at all to use own eggs?

is Donor eggs and my sperm a option or surrgitacy the only way?

Currently we are not sure of waht questions we should ask?

any advise gratefully received

Hello. How are you. Unfortunately most clinics do Ivf until 40/42 as the chance of pregnancy is quite slim. :( also with donor eggs doctors will discuss this route with anyone over 55. But have heard some people of doing that abroad. Hope this helps a bit. And will be praying for you both. :)

Sorry just reliased you said your partner is 54. So this could still be an option but depends on of tests are needed and how long that will Take. Your clinic or doctor should know All this though. :)

Hi, I'm not sure how your partner's age affects your treatment, but I do know that fertility is different for everyone, and some men can easily conceive when older - your fertility doesnt just drop off at a certain age, nor does it for women either, so I would ask your clinic. I'm sure they would do tests and based on the results give you some options. Good luck xxx

Sorry - misread and now realised that your partner is female. But I stand by my comments above - everyone is different and she may be very fertile at that age xxx
