Test day .... -

Today is my test day. Had been waiting for this day to arrive. Had 5day blastocyst 2 embie on board but the test show negative. Feel so sad and frustrated..Had period pains during 2ww but never had any bleeding. Could there be a chance of this to be positive later today? Had the transfer at 11am so was thinking maybe the 14th day will fall on 11am as well. hopeful but in doubt. Will phone the clinic later of the hpt result this morning.

Hi ceyc. So sorry to hear this, but as you have had no bleeding, I think I would want a blood hCG test just to confirm what is going on. Thinking of you. Diane

Hi Diane. Thank you for your comforting words. Just phoned the clinic but i was told because I was on cycglogest, i will not have any bleeding until i stop. Very very sad but we have been promised that we will be having the new cycle in the new year. Still hoping we will have our kids soon.

Oh bless you! I realise about the Cyclogest. Look, all I can say, is that the clinics are tending to “wind down” down before Christmas, but January is a new year, so let’s hope that it will be your year. If I can help with any medical questions at all, do ask away, even if you feel they are silly questions, they’re not to me! Diane

Thank you very much diane. I had 1 hour crying yesterday with hubby then shopping until the shops close then dinner out...backhome ready to sleep. Feel relieved now.

We decided to go on 1month holiday away from home in December so we will be back refreshed in January.

Just found this post from you a few days ago. Don't know how you don't always see them when they get posted but they come up at the bottom of the screen a few days later. So many coming in I suppose.

So sorry to read yr post and very kind of you to send me yr good wishes when you read about my test. how are you doing? Did you do another test? My clinic said you can get a false negative from urine tests as the hcg hormone may not be that strong yet. It's natural apparently to get period pains during the 2ww, I know I got them on and off

Hope yr ok anyway and if you want to rant then I'm here and I don't mind!

Sorry didn't read all yr messages to Diane. I see you're going to wait until the new year. Good idea to have a nice long break away and get in a good emotional and mental state before yr next try. It is important in this crazy thing we have to go through that you are chilled and upbeat. Bloody tough though

Hi hope23. Thanks so much for your comforting words. Dh and i kept ourselves busy during the weekend to keep our mind occupied. We went to work this morning ut around 830 I cant bear the pain..so much pain and i got heavy bleeding. I stopped medication friday as told by the clinic. I am back home resting and still in pain. I wish you all the best..It is nice to see positive things going with this tough journey. Hugs and xxx

Hi ceyc. Well that was good to know that you are looking after you, which is what you need just at the moment. Most clinics will be winding down now for Christmas, so going away for a month is a fab idea. Hope it’s somewhere warm so that you can both relax. A good move too to stay at home to recuperate a little more. You need to choose who you spend your time with just at the moment, to give yourself time to recover. Diane
