I had big tummy whilst on pessaries too with bloating and made my morning sickness so much worse. It eased off a bit once I stopped at 9 weeks. I found the wrist bands good for nausea and loads of carbs. Now 21 weeks and settled down and bump seems average size!! Good luck xx

I have to take the pessaries until i am 12 weeks does this mean i will be sick until i come off them? I tried the wrist bands they did not work will try carbs though thank you xxx kirsty xxx

I wasn't that sick on them but not nausea used so wipe me out for whole days. Guess each clinic gap different lengths to stay on pessaries depends on individual too. I did feel less nauseous when I stopped but I still felt rough up to about 17 weeks. Sorry!! It's all worth it though. Baby will get what they need regardless unless you really can't keep anything down then call Dr or midwife. I ate lots of plain crisps and toast. And drank lots of water. And just gave into it when I could and went to bed ridiculously early and spent weekends on the sofa which I hate but all I could do. It will get better and as I said at worth it!! Just had 20 week scan and I am still not sure I believe it all!! Xx

if i eat every 2 hours i seem to be ok but if i dont i get bad and it seems to be bad the first thing in the morning as soon as i wake up and i have had to cut lettuce lamb and cheese out of my diet and cereal only keeps me full for 30 mins i spend the weekends on the settee watching movies to try and rest and relax which i dont mind when feeling like this. Just wish i could go a bit longer without being sick like you say its so worth it thank you for the advice xxx Kirst xxxx

I had rich tea biscuits when I put morning pessaries in in bed and waited the half hour...or crackers. Yes, eating regularly helps. I liked jelly babies as I could sneak those in discreetly whilst teaching at school!! Hope it passes soon, keep in touch xx

Hiya, no we want a surprise! Scan went well, was quite long about 35 minutes checking all the organs and heart etc. my hubby was away so mum came with me which she enjoyed. How are you feeling?? I am still suffering with the remnants of a cold from last week which wiped me out. Hoping I haven't got nasal congestion now until baby arrives as some of my friends have!,it's annoying always having a bunged up nose but also having to blow it loads too!! Hope you have found something to munch in that helps the nausea. When is your next scan?? X
