12 weeks and getting twinges is this normal?
This is probably better for a pregnancy group as ladies on here are struggling with infertility and still hoping to get pregnant. Good luck
Sorry to have posted on here.. I have sufferd with infertility to...not long ago suffered miscarriage so just thought I would get support from ladies who have supported me during my bad times... As it does effect still.. But yea will post else where from now on.
Hi I’m 22 weeks pregnant, I had twinges on and off till I was 14 weeks so try not to worry congratulations on you pregnancy 🤰 x
Aww thanks good to know.. its just scary when you feel things you just worry especially after experiencing a miscarriage but your message helped. 💖
Very normal you get all sorts of twinges aches and pains 🤦🏽♀️💖💖
Thanks for your positive message it helps 🙂
I’ve got no experiences of this, but I just wanted to say, from what I’ve heard/read it’s meant to be very normal.
I’ve been getting cramps on and off but I’m only 5 weeks.
I think when you’ve have fertility treatment, and experienced miscarriage it really takes any enjoyment out of pregnancy as you can’t help but go into over drive with your thoughts.
Hope you’re doing ok. Try not to worry (easier said then done) and do something relaxing for you.
Cxxx
Thank you it is scary and does take the enjoyment out of pregnancy after a loss. Hence why I post here to keep me sane as this group is so supportive 💖 congratulations on your pregnancy and I pray it goes smoothly for you xxx
This group is brilliant for that. :-)! It’s been so helpful.
Thank you. I hope yours goes well as well xxx
Hey lovely, this sounds normal to me. I’m sure everything is fine and your lil one is just making more space. But of course check with clinic for reassurance xxx 💕
Hi thanks for the reassurance hun. I have a dating scan tomorrow so just hanging on. Last scan I had was private and was measuring 11.5 but obviously dating scan will be more accurate. Xxx
Oh lovely, yes hang on until then. I'm sure that will give you peace of mind and that everything is totally normal xxx
Very very normal lovely! I know it’s impossible not to worry but it’s just everything stretching and making space down there ☺️ look up round ligament pain, I had lots of it up to around 15/16 weeks xx
Hi kiboXx thanks for your message will look it up. I'm glad things are progressing for you 💕 I just feel like once I get past tommorow I will be ok. As it's a big milestone xx
It’s a huge milestone so I completely get how much you want to get there! Hoping you feel more relaxed after 🥰 xx
Very very normal I used to constantly worry about this I’m now 23 weeks! Xxx
Hi Eram12,
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
From my experience, The symptoms you are experiencing are very normal. They are caused by the extension of your womb and your ligaments which are loosening to make room for the baby to grow. I had similar pain throughout my pregnancy last year. I ended up seeing a physiotherapist who gave some exercises to do which helped a bit. I wish you all the best. X
Thanks everyone for your support. Had my dating scan and baby is measuring 13 weeks. So happy ☺️
Lovely news! I’m getting my knickers in a right twist over my 1st scan which is a week today. So it’s helped me today seeing a positive post. Thank you xxx
Awww I'm so glad it helped you. And good luck 👍 xxx
Glad scan went well, always a massive relief. 😁 I had lots of twinges with my daughter- the midwife warned me at 16 weeks to expect period pains as the baby goes through a big growth spurt. I hope you can now enjoy the pregnancy xxx
Thankyou ❤️ It is such a relief told our 5 year old daughter today and she keeps kissing belly 💖😊.
How you getting on? Xxx
Aww how cute she must be so excited to be a big sister 😍 so happy for you. I’m good thank you. Clearblue has shown progress in HCG levels so far so good still early days ( only 4 weeks) 🤞🏻 due same time we were 3 years ago ( but had a chemical pregnancy) I’m hoping time will go faster running after our 13 month old daughter!!! 🤣 xxx
She is very excited bless her 💖 aww if your HCG is getting stronger then that's a really good sign! At least you got your daughter to keep you busy ❤️xxx
