Hi gill76. Yes, this is quite common, as often your ovaries remain a little active. Just rest when you can and make sure you drink plenty of water – as well as pineapple juice! Make sure too, that you use your progesterone pessaries/cream if they have been prescribed for you. Hopefully, all will soon settle down. You can safely take paracetamol if you feel the need. Diane

I had period pains all through my tww on and off. I think it's something to do with the pessaries you have to take. I wouldn't use a hot water bottle though. Good luck and fingers crossed for you.

Hi gill76. It was just a one-off time, so try and stop worrying about it. Just that once shouldn't have done any harm. Good luck! Diane

Hi gill76. Apologies if you have already received this reply, but since the changes in the way Health Unlocked is operating, I seem to be getting "old" questions sent to me as a "new" one, so thought it was best to re answer the questions just in case. They were regarding abdo pain following ET and the use of pineapple juice.....Yes, this is quite common, as often your ovaries remain a little active.
