Had my egg transfer today ill find out in 11 days if its worked. Im disappointed 1 embryo was good enough to transfer and out of 8 fertilised eggs 2 may be ok to freeze if they grow in the next cpl days.. if not then I may have to start from scratch :'(:'(

Hi, Try and keep positive I know it's hard, last year I had 1 egg transferred and the others didn't make it, unfortunately I didn't get a positive result but I have read plenty of success stories from 1 egg.. A little hope is better than none.. Take care of yourself and I'm sure everyone on here will pray for you.. X

Hi, happy for you that you got your transfer! Hopefully your 2 little embies make it to be frozen. I got my transfer on Monday 3rd I do my test on Monday 17th iv'e got a 14 day wait after transfer it's dragging already! I had 11 fertilised eggs and on the Monday I had 1 transferred and was told 3 were top quality so would be frozen. There was 4 others that were still grade A but not as good quality and that they would phone me the next day to let me know if any improved so could be frozen too only 1 was good enough. My clinic are only freezing embryo's if they are perfect as they don't want to give you false hope. Are you nhs? if so do you have any more cycle's with them? I will keep my fingers crossed for you that your embryo's make it to freeze. Lots of baby dust our way and hoping we both get a bfp :) xx

Ahh good look for next monday. Im glad in the end you have 4 perfect embryos to freeze thats brill.my hosp also only freezes the best eggs so thats prob why I have so little left :-( . It was an nhs cycles but they would only fund one cycle because its postcode lottery.. its sad that I only live an hour away from hosp yet agirl i met at the hosp lives a few hours away in Wales and she gets 2 nhs funded cycles. If it dosnt work ill just have to wait and save up.. good luck huni xx

Hi, the postcode lottery is so unfair! As it's so expensive too you wonder how they can justify all the costs. I'm very fortunate that I live in Scotland and get 3 cycles free as I wouldn't have been able to pay for all treatment that iv'e had! are you taking crinone 8% progesterone vaginal gel one in the morning? from day of egg collection until pregnancy test? x

I had 2eggs on my first round of ivf as they were not top grade unfortunately it came to nothing on my second round of ivf I had 1top grade put back which resulted in my daughter so its not about the quantity but the quality they are looking at :) good luck x

It only takes one. That is what lots of people told me. We had 14 eggs collected, 11 fertilised but only two made it to transfer day. Neither were

the top quality, but we had both put back and now I'm 10 weeks pregnant. So we had none to freeze but it didn't bother me as I was told to focus on the here and now. I had acupuncture all thru my treatments and for last few years and truly believe it has helped us. After 4 years of trying and being 35 we got there. Still very anxious and a way to go yet till we tell everyone and relax a little as we miscarried last yr with a natural pregnancy. This was our one nhs cycle that my gp appealed for us. Keep positive and visualise your embryo implanting. May be rubbish but I did it lots in my two we wait. Fingers crossed for your test. Xx
