That sounds wonderful, I am 44 and had eggs collected on Friday only 6 and then only 2 fertilised, I am very excited because I hardly had any follicles after 5 days of stimulation!

Are you in any pain, last night was unbearable, I can't sit or even lie down, I am having both transferred back later today, very excited, the pain I don't mind so much though it is a bit debilitating, you know, it feels a bit like pangs for a much awaited motherhood feeling!

Mangwana - tell your clinic about the pain before the transfer, so that they can check everything is ok. Unbearable pain doesn't sound right.

Thanks flower girl I have just called them, they say to wait for 2 pm because I have an appointment then. Sometimes easy things can be so hard! Can you imagine I did not think to call?

Hard to think of those things when you are actually living them. I would probably do as you were doing and thinking about telling them when I got there or not at all. But, they don't seem overly worried, so that is good. Well done for making the call when prompted - at least you've raised it now. Looking at the time, you could have some embies in you by now! Had both embryos transferred , good grade embryos, feeling very positive. It is now in God's hands! I cried when they placed the embryos, it was such an emotional experience never having been this close to pregnancy before!

I have been in so much pain the last two days , it is my left hand side and lower back, did not take pain killers, had to cancel 3 days of patients because I was due back to work today. Could not even walk! Bend over with the pain. Hot water bottle only pain killer, man I hope this at least results in a baby or two. Apart from the back nothing is happening to my abdomen? Nothing at all !

Hello , My wife had her eggs Transferred two weeks ago, she was advised not to use a hot water or take hot baths. it was one of the last things they said after the egg transfer.

My wife was also in discomfort with sore lower abdominal pains and bloating, feeling sick. infact she still has the bloating pains which comes on without warning. We though it was a negative sign , but we just got our blood result today with a positive reading. !

Congratulations ! Thank you so much, I hope I have not killed my embies. I have avoided baths etc but had the hot water bottle on my lower back and abdomen all of Monday and yesterday night!

Now I am really worried, I will call clinic tomorrow!
