When to use ovulation tests
Hi
The ovulation tests should tell you when to start using them, based on your average cycle length, my Clearblue ones certainly did. You don't want to be using them every day or you'll drive yourself potty and have to send a fortune!
If I remember, my average cycle map length was 28 days so the instructions told me to start using the sticks on day 10 of my cycle I thunk - I would usually get a positive result between days 12-14 and there see always then 14 days between ovulation and your period starting.
You haven't mentioned what kind of ovulation tester you're using so I can't help much more - good luck!!

Hi.
I'm using the digital clearblue to save me having to guess. As treacle said, they do prove expensive and having to hold your wee in everyday for 4 hours would be too much!!
My periods are irregular, so I start them on day 8. My earliest has been day 10 and my latest day 15 with my period kicking in about 10-18 days later.
A lot of people don't test for the rest of the month after they have had a but I do now, just to see how long my surge lasts...good luck x
