Hey everyone, just wondering what tests people use. Are clearblue the best ones?

I should explain that I have unexplained infertility. Haven't had the official diagnosis but with our next appointment days away and still nothing, I was told that we would be diagnosed with that and relevant course of action would then take place.

Hey yes I've only ever used clear blue digital ones. You get 10 sticks in one pack. They are quite expensive but I've found I kinda know when ovulation will occur so only use about 3 or 4 a month so one pack lasts me 3 months. I think they are quite reliable good luck!!

Thank you

I have a clearblue ovulation monitor. The only month it hasn't shown me a 'peak' ovulation sign was a month when I turned out to be pregnant. So I must have ovulated. So I've kind of lost faith in it a bit.

And in any case, the really cheap ones from Amazon or eBay seem to work just as well for much less cost... some months I've used the ovulation monitor and the cheapie sticks and always had positives on the same day.

So personally I suggest go cheap, unless you want to dual indicator where you get a 'high' and a 'peak' reading.

I just use the cheap ones from Amazon. Have managed to pick up ovulation most months and those I haven't it's probably my fault for not testing at the right time of day!

I used internet cheapies from Amazon. You can buy them in bulk and they're very reliable. Clearblue is expensive

I've got the Clear Blur monitor - it's a rip off. Cost £100 and sticks are really expensive. It hardly every shows me as peak (twice in a year) but all my tests have come back from doctors as ok and other tests show me as inculcating. I've read loads on internet about it being a waste of time so I'd suggest you go for the cheaper option too😀

Hi! Sorry I'm dropping in a little late. I started tracking my ovulation lately by temping, but someone advised me to try fertility monitors to increase my chances of getting pregnant. I read somewhere else (a subreddit) that Clearblue monitors were the best. (I'm new here so I'm not sure whether I can post the link to the thread). I've read a lot of reviews on Clearblue monitors, including a recent one here: checkovulation.com/clear-bl.... I thought the Clearblue fertility test monitor was worth trying, but I'm having second thoughts now after reading your comments. What cheaper alternatives do you suggest? If possible, could you provide the brand name or ASIN so that I can check it out? (Please PM the name and link since I'm not sure it's allowed to do that here.)

Thanks!
