Can someone please explain to me what happens and how you will feel when you start taking menopur, I am feeling abit frightened as I am due

Hi danielle. Most women just get a bit of nausea while on the drug. However, it has

been known to cause a bit of a bloated feeling and mood swings in some. You will be

scanned while you are on the drug to make sure you are responding well. It is a well

used drug, so try not to worry too much about it and drink plenty of water. Kind

Ohh I hate feeling sick, is there anything I could take if I was too feel Nausea, also I am having 3 ampoules, is that the lowest dose?

Hi. Best not to take anything drug-wise. Try eating a ginger biscuit to settle your tummy if it happens. It should soon wear off, so don’t worry about it. 2-3 ampoules of Menopur is about average. This gives them some leeway to “up” the dose should it be necessary. Kind regards. Remember to drink plenty of water. Regards Diane.

My advice would be, don't think about it too much, just go with it!!! You are doing it for the very very best reason! That's all that counts, one more step on your journey xx
