I think I was advised it was £180 for consultation for me and if I was to have Clomid it would be double, but I don't know if that's across the board. Good Luck

Id didn't, I got Clomid on NHS and the clinic didn't realise this so they gave me the info in case I needed. This doesn't really make sense sorry but anyway they indicated it would be double the cost. Ring them and ask.....?

Taking it caused my emotions to be all over the place. I'm still taking it. Had 8 months and no success, got another 4 to go, who knows. Losing the will a bit now! Some people it works first go so good luck.

Hi I'm sorry that you have been feeling this way it must be hard for you, i find keeping this as normal as I can helps, I'm 38 now and have given until I'm 40 to fall pregnant I try not to let it take over my life But that's easier said than done good luck to you I hope you have success. Talk to your g.p and ask what is the next step for you? Are you getting help through the nhs if yes take everything you can I'm unlucky I have to pay for my own treatment hence that's why I have put a time limit on it x

I'm in the process for IVF now due to many cock ups in my treatment. I am no longer eligible for free treatment so am quite angry about that but we'll try IVF once. Trying to focus on other things but very hard to do all the time. If you're going to pay, I'd get into a private clinic asap rather than wait any longer. Good luck to you too x

Yes I understand it can be frustrating I was told because my husband has a child with his first marriage that means I cannot have help on the nhs even though I am childless myself. We are due to go for our first private appointment on October 9th and I'm hoping to get the clomid then and get started, good luck to you keep me posted on your progress stay strong
