Did anyone to this how much did it cost?

I did. I’m not a single mum but we have male infertility.

The prices vary across clinics. In the UK you usually need to pay a Family Slot fee which is a one off of £500 and then for each vial if sperm. Some sell them as 1 vial, others as 3.

At my clinic it’s £950 a vial.

How does work? Does mean the baby has many brothers and sisters. How many people does the donor serve

In the Uk it’s controlled so a donor can only be used by 10 families. I guess some might want to have more than one child but no more that 10 families can be created to limit hundreds of children being created by one donor x

We used the London, the European sperm bank is the most popular one in the Uk as they have a lot of donors. We also looked at the Manchester. Some private clinics also have their own donors.

You just need to look around and see what’s right for you x

I'm single;

So far I have done 3 rounds of IVF, and 2 fet rounds, unfortunately all failing or ending in a miscarriage.

I've spent so far $40000.

Brighton Fertility.co.uk were amazing for me. I hated the whole online shopping business I scrolled and scrolled but hated everything I saw and was devastated I had to do this route (mainly as I had a partner but he could not come on the journey wit me due to his own mental health issues) Anyway long story short BF was so much better for me as I had a human to speak to that personally knew the donor and this made it more personal and easier for me to handle. I wrote the brief and shared photo's and they found me a very close match. All the best and I hope you find your special one! xx

he said he could not proceed it was too much for him unfortunately but he is here supporting me and the future for us is unclear at this stage
