Hi ladiesWeve had our first ever BFP today! In shock. We're uk based. Do all clinics do blood hcg testing? It's never been mentioned to us. Also what week is the viability scan typically?

Congratulations! That’s great news 🎉
My clinic did not do HCG testing but some do. I think it’s a good thing to do for reassurance but many clinics make you wait until the first scan which is typically at 6-7 weeks.
Good luck with everything, hope everything goes smoothly x
congratulations 💗
congrats! No bloods at our clinic and viability scan is at 8 weeks. It is very varied but if they haven’t mentioned it I imagine they wouldn’t do them. Did they not tell you next steps after BFP though for scan timings etc? Ours hand us a letter too with instructions in case we don’t take it all in at the time xx
Congratulations!
Our clinic offered one HCG but we requested more due to a previous chemical pregnancy. I’m sure if you ask you could have one done, sometimes they just incur a cost. Our scan with the clinic was done at 7 weeks but I believe this varies. I imagine if you call them they will be more than happy to advise 🙂
Good luck! X
