Rough night - cramping & pelvic pain

Hey lovelies. Had this twice now, about a week apart, so I thought I'd post this & see if any of you experienced this.

I'm 15+0 today and last night was rough! My partner woke me up as I was apparently moaning, then realised I had fairly strong dull pain, akin to period pain. Changing positions helped a bit, but I also found it hard to go back to sleep as sleeping on the side made my pelvis ache after a while. I use pregnancy pillow in between my legs and it usually helps, but not so much last night.

So I was tossing and turning for the rest of the night, and this morning my thighs muscles are a bit achy, like after a proper exercise!

No bleeding both times and cramping has subsided (just very faint dullness & occasional twinge), so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about... hoping it is just a growth spurt & my body trying to catch up 😵

Just looking for some reassurance really xx

Hi. You’re almost at the 16/40 wks marker where little one is Pringle out of the pelvic area and pulling your round ligaments up. Hopefully it’s just tar as ts setting might happen again though. One more week and little one can hear, so get daddy to start and read a story each night so baby gets to know his voice. Magic if you have C-section And they hand baby to daddy, recuts in instant eye opening cause his voice is recognised. Sleep wel tonight Diane

Thank you for your response Diane - a couple nights following have been better. I'm generally achy in the area these days & as you say the bad bouts will probably come back as the uterus experiences growth spurts.

The thought of the baby recognising our voices at birth is such a lovely one xx
