hi there, i have been debating whether or not to post this question as i may not like the answer! I am 6 weeks pregnant with a normal embryo (my one and only from a final IVF round) and have constant worries that the baby is no longer alive or that I will have a miscarriage, I know this is everyone’s fear and probably nothing is going to stop this anxiety but is there a lower chance of miscarriage with a PGTA tested embryo or does this help with implantation only? Thank you for your help x

hey, I am no expert but one reason for miscarriage is chromosome issues, so it might reduce the risk but there are other factors at play too - sorry!
Hi lovely,
As sj482 says, often miscarriages are due to chromosomal issues, so with a PGT-A normal embryo there is less chance.
It definitely does not stop you worrying though.
Xx
I can’t say anything about the PGTA testing, but just wanted to say I feel your anxiety and worry about miscarriage/ whether the baby is alive. I’m 6w too and struggling with a lot of the same thoughts. x
