Restless legs

Does anyone get restless legs in the evening? I’m laying in bed now and always this same time each night my legs feel restless, hard to describe. Never had it pre pregnancy (now 15 weeks). Any tips?

I took magnesium for it, think it helped. Make sure you’re getting enough calcium and vitamin D as well xx

Yes! It’s driving me nuts! The only cure I’ve found is running my feet/legs under freezing cold water. I only get it when trying to get to sleep - later in the night I am fine x

yes me too! When I wake up in the night to wee I don’t have, just in the evenings when trying to get to sleep or relaxing x

Yes, it was really annoying. I patted them with a damp cloth then put a pillow between my legs. Seemed to help a little bit.x

Are you moving/walking enough throughout the day? I seem to get it if I’ve been inactive. Good luck x

Try messaging your legs- relaxing bath before bed time - relaxing exercises , such as yoga

Take care

thanks I haven’t had a bath since being pregnant just showers, worried about having baths and don’t know why, I like them quite hot and worried it would do the baby harm? X

Maybe try not too hot a bath -just to help relax you -will cause no harm to your baby
