I had a scan locally on Monday (she’s a great sonographer) when I was exactly 10 weeks (this was to partly check on my subchrionic hematoma) and the sonographer I saw measured me as 10+3, which we were very pleased to hear! Then today I had another scan but this time at my clinic as part of them discharging me from their clinical care and I’m 10+3 today and they measured me as only 10+2.
So on Monday I was 10+3 and now I’m 10+2 (3 days later) how is that even possible? I’m worried it means the babies growth has slowed down/stopped growing? There was a strong heartbeat but I know the growth needs to keep up pace too. It’s niggling me! X

There’s probably a couple of mm in it-if the same person did it twice a few hours apart I doubt they’d get exactly the same measurement. The dates are only estimates so please don’t worry too much xx
measurements are very inaccurate. Sounds to be like bubba is doing great and measuring on rack x
Just wanted to reassure you like the others have said this is completely normal.. It's really hard for people to measure at this stage and the CRL isn't an exact science as dependent on how the baby is lying there could be a mm or two in it. Baby is on target and that's the main thing! The other thing to remember is growth isn't linear. So sometimes you will measure behind and sometimes ahead.. at this stage as long as baby is there or thereabouts you are in good shape! Deep breaths x
Hi PrincessGurn. Probably just down to baby's position when the scan was done. Sometimes difficult to measure if he/she is very mobile. definitely doesn't seem to be any worries here. Diane
